Tairaku An Shakuhachi Dojo in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Awarded a Jun Shihan, Jin Nyodo branch of Kinko shakuhachi in 2003 from James Nyoraku Schlefer of Kyo Shin An Shakuhachi Dojo in Brooklyn. I teach Minyo, Kinko gaikyoku, Kinko and Myoan Honkyoku. For interested students I can also teach how to play jazz, rock and blues on shakuhachi. I also transcribe shakuhachi music into Western notation and teach it to those playing Western instruments.

Chikuzen is a damned fine teacher, and pretty good company, to boot.    : o]

Zen is not easy.
It takes effort to attain nothingness.
And then what do you have?
Bupkes.
