This is part of an ongoing underground restaurant/performance series. Once or twice a month, world class musicians and wonderful food are paired by In the Mood for Food, a vegetarian personal chef and catering company.

Kaoru Kakizakai makes his debut appearance and performance in the San Francisco Bay Area. He will perform solo and a couple of duets with a special guest.

cold cucumber kiwi miso soup

appetizer:
quinoa pilaf (quinoa w/ pine nuts, mint, parsley, shallots, cucumbers, dried cranberries) with arugula/tomato salad and lime cilantro dressing

entree
pecan crusted tempeh (homemade) with spiced apricot sauce
roasted baby leeks and baby onions
sauteed summer squash

desert
plum tarts in a almond-date-vanilla crust w/ peach ice cream and raspberry sauce
