Myspace Track.

Hi,

I've just put a short track up on myspace played on a Perry Yung 2.4 that I just got (thanks again, Perry!)

It's just one of my studies on the shakuhachi; I put it up to freak out my Irish music friends, and to scare away local kids. I enjoy "dischord" and rhythm... long walks on the beach, and romantic dinners for two.

Its the last track on the Myspace player here:

"SubAtomicLock"

Not for those of a nervous dispostiton!

Regards,

Harry.

Good on ya, Harry!

Charles Ives and Bela Bartok would both dig it.

My wife and I love that, Harry.  She's a Contra dancer and really dug that Culfadda Maude.  SubAtomicLock... love that, too.  I'm really enjoying this world of shakuhachi.

Great stuff. Also liked Incy Wincy (the previous track).

Re: Myspace Track.

I agree with Edosan, sounds a bit like an Ives. It actually reminded me a lot of Steve Reich's Different Trains (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Different_Trains). Nice piece -- feels indeed like a struggling engine car heading into the mountains.

Re: Myspace Track.

Thanks for sharing Harry!  I never thought of recording chords.  I'll have to try that!
