I drew this in Copenhagen airport in transit from Norway.
______
As per Tairaku and a good idea:
1. Okay to download onto personal computers. (I think if you post artwork here that should be a given.)
2. Okay to use for non commercial use (i.e. posting on personal sites, etc.) unmodified/unaltered with credit (Drawing by Chris Moran 2007) -- But please resist using this particular one as an avatar, it will grow wearysome very quickly. <:0}
3. For commercial purposes (logos, album covers, etc.) please contact artist via email xrismoran@hotmail.com

Brilliant! Is that on a napkin, the airport floor or paper? It certainly deserves four stamps!

Thank you. Of course, it would be more appropriate on a napkin, but it is in my sketch book.

Hi Chris, Great drawing! I noticed this is a Kinko Ryu Troll? I heard that Tozan Trolls are less hairy
Any thoughts Dominic?

Hey Chris,
That's great. Maybe we should start a section where people can post their shakuhachi related art.
Does anybody else think that's a good idea?
Ciao,

I was initially quite concerned that this troll would be percieved as being a Kinko Chauvinist, but decided that a Tozan utaguchi would make our troll look too happy -- breezy, if you will. And a Myoan utaguguchi might seem too plain and somber. Better that slashy, samurai, metal look of Kinko.

Actually they just use more pommade.

When I first saw the heading for this thread, I thought it would be about somebody,--umm--something else.
Call them Masters, Meisters, or some other kind of blusterer, I don't cotton much to self-appointed authorities.
"Don't follow leaders; watch the parking meter." Bob Dylan said that.

I was thinking the same thing as Tutu. Great drawing! Reminds me of a horror story I read decades ago by T.H. White called 'The Troll,' set in Norway somewhere; the creature didn't play shakuhachi though...

Proceed with caution. Mocking that which is already a mockery (whether self-aware or not) is not for amateurs.
"Give us a break, don't try this at home." The Mythbusters said that.
