I honestly think it's a question of synesthesia (in the poetic sense, hopefully not the neurological condition)... some people play and it's like the taste of noodles or the smell. Others play and it's as if you can see them drawing in the space before your very eyes. I.e. noodling and doodling. (Am I on the right track?)
