Similar to the last question: Question on fingerings

Hello,
I was looking at Perry's blog and found a page of "what defines a functional flute", it talks about fingering techniques and if they work on the flute making it functional for that style of music.  Now my question is what are all the different fingerings for the various styles? Is their some way I can get all the different finger charts or whatnot for free?  I wouldn't mind just buying books for each style and finding out that way, but I'm poor and trying to save money to study shakuhachi in Japan.  Thanks.
