An encore presentation
Yoshio Kurahashi will be in Northern California for a few days and asked if i would host another performance on my underground restaurant/concert series.
He will perform solo pieces, modern and traditional
4 course organic vegan meal
menu subject to changes but at present looks something like:
soup
corn daikon wakame miso soup
salad
roasted kabocha with hijiki, mizuno and a creamy herb miso dressing
entree
Adzuki Tempeh dengagku (homemade tempeh made from adzuki beans) roasted with miso sauce (using homemade white miso)
chrysanthemum leaves with mustard sesame dressing
lotus root pickles
burdock root pickles
daikon pickled with tea (sencha) leaves
brown rice
desert
pear tarts with vanilla ice "cream" and chocolate port sauce
Limited seating for 20
