Nobekan Lust

Is it wrong to have it?  Because if it's wrong, I don't wanna be right.

Can't you just glue the two halves together. I did crazier things when I was a kid and was lusting and the real thing wasn't available.

If you're not lusting after the real thing, you're not really lusting...

And then what do you have?
Bupkes.

Re: Nobekan Lust

From a player's standpoint, I never understood why anyone would want a 2 piece shakuhachi in the first place, but then I never travel with long shakuhachi. All my shakuhachi are nobekan except for a wooden 1.8 which I glued together after I got tired of using Teflon tape. It has not caused me any problems after gluing.

Re: Nobekan Lust

I can see the reason for wanting a two piece shakuhachi for a longer flute, but then again that would decrease its potential worth as a club.

Yeah, I'd want the real thing. Nobekan implants just aren't the same.
