Looks like grilling to me, rather than BBQ, but I'm a snob like that.

I think Ken meant BBQ in the sense of "getting together with friends" not as a culinary statement. This, however, I cooked the other day and maybe this is what you're talking about. BBQ pork ribs w/blood oranges.

Hey Ken, did you guys drink some of John's private label tequila at the BBQ?

On a warm day we had a refreshing cocktail of vodka over watermelon slices. Mm..

There's an idea there Jeff! Perhaps we can change the forum title to, "Mujitsu and Tairaku's Shakuhachi Bar and Grill." I like it!! lol

Kiku, growing up in America, many kids associate Labor Day with the Jerry Lewis Telethon and a sad end to summer/beginning of the school year! sad

I agree. We don't really celebrate labor in America any more. We attack it!

I question the wisdom of this idea, because if we put "bar" in the title it will invite people to act like drunken louts, which was the reason we changed the name to "BBQ" in the first place. People were, and we wanted them to have a little respect for the hospitality. At a bar people are expected to act like morons. Anyway if it's a bar, it would have to be considered a sports bar or gay bar because there are no chicks here.

Are you looking for "nueter" (sp?).  I think that is mainly a linguistic term, rather than biological.  That is the kind of male dominated swine talk I'd expect to hear in a bar.  Of course, most of us married types can be filed as nueter as our wives have our balls now.  Oh you know its true, just accept it.

I see your Hitler stash and raise you a racial steryotype

Kiku would not be the first Shakuhachi Warrior Prince/Princess, however.

See picture below.

Special note should be made that the sculpture is from the Late Classical Period as evidenced by the Jyosui Tozan shakuhachi (ji-nuri).
