Spider Boogie

I have noticed for quite some time that when you play deeper tones forcefully, the orb weavers waiting in their webs get excited. Some may spread their legs and jump, and some of them will agressively shake their webs until you stop.

I was wondering if it was only the sound waves they were responding to, so I experimented a bit and found that you can be quite some distance away, and not blowing air directly towards the web - just in case it was the breath itself they felt, and they still respond, so their webs are very sensitive antennas for sound vibrations as well as prey.

When they respond - especially when they shake their webs, it always makes me smile!

Re: Spider Boogie

When playing on a mountain top this past summer I had birds come up to me, murmuring, flying around trees near me, and then closer- as close as three feet away.
They would leave when I stopped, and come back when I started again.
